Power Hour was born from a hunger to help busy people do more of what they love every day by fully utilising their lunch breaks.
The idea for Power Hour came to being when our co-founders saw the scale and impact of what they call ‘the "Pret-Run Pandemic" in the city of London.
Saddened by watching other Londoners run to grab a sandwich only to eat whilst multitasking at their desk, they agreed there had to be another way to inject more fun into the working day, with diary-friendly breaks.
Convinced that there was an opportunity to help people to make more of their day, without interfering with an already long list of work and personal commitments, the plan to launch 'Power Hours' - creative breaks of less than 60 minutes was born.
Bringing our experience as a busy city worker and psychologist together, we’ve made it our mission to get as many people as possible, to take a creative break daily, without compromising busy diaries.
The Power Hour Formula
Our diverse programme of events have been carefully designed by our team of creative hosts. Power Hours are run by our experienced team of artists, makers, coaches and wellbeing professionals.
To pass the Power Hour seal of approval, all events must pass the test of being sure to fire up your right brain, promote self-expression, wellbeing, or fun, in just under 60 minutes
To make daily creative breaks the new normal Power Hour offers creative mini-escapes for individuals and teams within and around your working day.
We help individuals and teams working longer hours to re-charge their creative batteries through short, creative activities without compromising productivity and diaries that are already bursting at the seams
